A living space in the heart of Putumayo
In the south of Colombia, near Mocoa, we are developing a space dedicated to deep connection with nature, cultural continuity and meaningful creation.
This is not just a retreat project.
It is a place where people come not only to experience — but to build, create and take part in something real.
Here, the land is not a backdrop.
It is the foundation.
The vision
Our intention is to create a space where the following can meet:
- ancestral knowledge and living traditions
- contemporary human development
- practical creation and building
- a conscious relationship with the land
Putumayo is a territory deeply connected to yagé and to the taitas who carry this knowledge.
We approach this reality with respect, seeking collaboration rather than appropriation.
Relationship with the territory
The region is home to indigenous peoples such as the Inga and Cofán.
We recognize the depth of their knowledge and the importance of preserving it within its cultural context.

This project is designed to integrate into the territory, not to impose upon it.
Co-creation and development model
This project is built as an open ecosystem where people can develop their own initiatives within a shared vision. We are inviting individuals who are ready to take responsibility for what they create.
Examples include:
- developing a jungle spa from concept to reality
- building and running a woodworking workshop
- creating artisan studios and production spaces
- contributing to construction and infrastructure development
We provide:
- land and long-term vision
- a developing infrastructure
- a collaborative environment
- support to help establish and grow each initiative
This is not a finished place. It is a process of creation.
Commitment to the territory
The project is designed to generate tangible value for the region. All profits from the hospitality activity will be reinvested into local initiatives, including:
a laboratory for the preservation and documentation of plant-based knowledge
a collaborative workspace for taitas, practitioners and researchers
an artisan village supporting local crafts and traditions
We also participate in yagé replanting initiatives, contributing to the regeneration of both the plant and its ecosystem. These initiatives are developed in dialogue with local communities.
The place
The project is located in a living jungle environment, rich in biodiversity and natural resources.
Its development is progressive, respecting the balance of the ecosystem.
The environment supports both inner processes and practical creation.
The approach
Activities within the space will include:
- traditional yagé ceremonies guided by taitas
- breathwork and body-based practices
- emotional and spiritual integration
- hands-on building and creative processes
- time in nature and silence
Each process is approached with responsibility and care.
Cultural space and knowledge preservation
The maloka is envisioned not only as a ceremonial space, but also as a cultural platform.
It will be open to local folkloric groups for rehearsals and performances.
A recording studio is also planned, dedicated to preserving the sonic heritage of the taitas and the oral traditions of the region.
Experience and foundation
The project is supported by Mr Alvaro Aivars Proveys with over 30 years of international experience in developing and promoting new tourism destinations and projects.
This experience allows us to combine global perspective with deep respect for local identity.
Responsibility
Working with sacred plants such as yagé requires preparation, respect and proper guidance.
Safety and well-being are fundamental priorities.

The project is currently in a phase of gradual development.
Each step is built with a long-term vision, aligning human, cultural and environmental dimensions.
